#RhodeScholar Mallory recaps a long weekend

What a weekend! This has been a busy and fun-filled weekend for me. First of all, I finished my first week at my new job, so after a very overwhelming week, I was ready for some fun. It’s already official — I LOVE not working the overnight shift on Friday nights anymore.

#RhodeScholar Brittany begins Newport countdown!

It’s been a really busy two weeks. There was the prep for the Jamestown Half Marathon, which was all well and good until I woke up race morning at 3am with some not so nice indicators that I had a lovely bout of food poisoning.

#RhodeScholar Amy ran an unexpected half!

March 24 - Last weekend I ran a half marathon that wasn’t planned. I did it because I’ve been feeling amazing. I did it because I want to maintain my fitness level for the next one that is on my schedule - the Cox Rhode Races Half Marathon. I did it because it was insanely fun to sign up at the last minute, and KNOW that I COULD do it.
